My research interests include image processing and computer vision, multimedia databases, digital libraries, and pattern recognition. Specific topics of interest are: image and video segmentation, image texture, content based access to multimedia data, dimensionality reduction and high dimensional search & indexing, face detection and recognition, digital watermarking and data hiding. My group is also actively involved in the ISO/MPEG-7.
