How to use the system?

In order to use the system. You need to have a Windows system, a browser , and a Realplayer Plug-Ins.  The web interface has three frames. The upper left frame is the slide index. The lower left frame is the player frame, The right upper frame is the slide title, and right lower frame slide content frame. 

Clicking on any one in the slide index frame will bring you the corresponding title and its content to be showed in the slide title and slide content frame, which are generated automatically by the system. Clicking on the beginning of each line  will start the Realplayer in the player frame to play the associated handwriting content and voice.

We use the "evaluation" version of Realsystem server to stream the media. Here we offer two versions of  note  playing. The first version is in Real Video format, and the second version is in  Macromedia Shockwave animation.  Depending on the internet connection, you may experience delay when playing it. We find the current version of Realsystem is still quite slow when streams the  Macromedia Shockwave animation and we are collaborating with Todd, from RealNetwork to solve it. Hopefully, the new release of RealServer will come soon. 

You may firstly play the video from the beginning to check the result. Then, you may try to jump to the points of interest by clicking the right frame content. You may download the Shockwave file and play it yourself.
