Amazing park offering spectacular views for 30 min - 7 day visits, anyone will find something!!! Good infrastructure and management.
The water you see is secreting from the porous rock of zion, it is estimated that it takes water about 2-4000 years to go through the rock!
Hard to believe in what you see, this park is a must! Great management and nights are really dark!
Least interesting park of all national parks we visited, if you're short on time it's not a problem to skip it.
Superb! Park is certainly underestimated, it's amazing and huge! Underdeveloped so be prepared to camp without water and bring all your food, but it makes it even more enjoyable!
Yes, Spielberg filmed Indiana Jones here for a reason! This park provided us with most beautiful pictures of all! Some arches are gonna live for a very short time, visit it before it's too late... Park is well developed and well managed so no worries to arrive with no food or water.
This park is in indian reservation and is absurdly overestimated! There's too much hype about very little, compare to other parks in the Colorado Plateau. And by the way, management is horrible..
Certainly worth visiting, and note that management makes sure it worth more than what they post at the entrance gate, watch out! Lake Powell is great and National Parks card is a great help to visit all of that!
One has to drive along the river one way or another, it's a nice ride and the river is strong, cold and elevates respect for the first discoverers, such as Powell.
Horse shoe bend at the colorado river right after the powell lake, there are at least 4 such spectacular points along the river
Everyone heard of Grand Canyon, it's grand, in fact in my opinion it's too big to comprehend. But definitely a spectacular visit. Camp ground staff are very friendly and management is great even though there are tons of tourists, visit before it's a huge city!
Stars spinning over the grand canyon - 10 images at iso 400 (almost impossibly noisy on my camera) and 15 seconds exposure
